Dress for changing weather and a full day outdoors. Comfort and protection from the elements are more important than clothing color—there are no color restrictions for fishing.
We recommend:
Layered clothing (base layer, mid-layer, outer layer) to adjust throughout the day
Waterproof rain jacket (strongly recommended, even on clear days)
Quick-drying pants or shorts (avoid cotton when possible)
Long-sleeve shirt for sun protection
Hat for sun and weather protection
Polarized sunglasses (very important for visibility on the water)
Sunscreen and lip balm
Footwear
Float Trips: Comfortable closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes, light hiking shoes, or sandals with a secure strap)
Walk & Wade Trips: Waders and wading boots are required and must be provided by the client
Weather in Wyoming can change quickly—be prepared for cool mornings, warm afternoons, wind, and occasional rain, even in summer.
