What Is a Float Trip?
A float trip is a guided fly-fishing experience from a drift boat, where your guide rows and you get to pretend you're the one doing the hard work. It’s comfortable, beginner-friendly, and one of the best ways to see the rivers around Cody, Wyoming without actually having to walk very far.
We float national favorites like the Lower Shoshone, Bighorn River, North Fork of the Shoshone, and the Lower Clarks Fork when flows cooperate. Expect wild trout, big scenery, and that classic Wyoming feeling of having the whole river to yourself.
Why choose us?
We’re Cody locals who know these rivers like the back of our hands. We pick the best float each day based on flows and conditions, so you get the safest, most scenic, most “wow-I-can’t-believe-this-is-real” experience possible. -
What Is a Walk & Wade Trip?
A walk & wade trip is a guided fly-fishing experience on foot, where you and your guide move along the riverbank and step into the water to fish the best pockets, riffles, and pools. It’s hands-on, relaxed, and a great way to learn or sharpen your skills while exploring some of the most scenic water around Cody and Yellowstone.
You'll fish places like the North Fork of the Shoshone, Lower Clarks Fork, small local tributaries, and select Yellowstone streams—beautiful stretches of water where wild trout live and where the scenery does most of the bragging for us.
Why choose us?
We’re Cody locals who spend a lot of time on these rivers, so we know when they’re fishing well and when they’re just being dramatic. We take you to the best walk-in spots based on flows and conditions, giving you a focused, high-quality day on the water. -
What Are Custom & One-of-a-Kind Trips?
Our custom trips are built for anglers who want something beyond the standard day trip—experiences that blend fishing, adventure, scenery, and access to places most people will never see. These are fully tailored outings that can include multi-day Yellowstone walk & wade adventures, remote horseback fly fishing, off-road excursions, and even completing the Wyoming Cutthroat Slam.
You can spend several days exploring Yellowstone’s best waters, ride horseback into high-country creeks that are basically impossible to reach any other way, hop in an ATV to chase remote trout, or check off all four native cutthroat species with a guide who knows exactly where they live.
Why choose a custom trip?
You want a truly unique Wyoming experience—something personal, flexible, and built around adventure. We design each trip based on your goals, your skill level, and the conditions, giving you access to incredible water, unforgettable scenery, and a trip that feels like it was made just for you.
